On Sunday morning, following an 11-hour flight from London to Johannesburg, and a coach ride across the plains of the North West Province, our qualifiers were greeted by William Rollason, Ian Doherty and Kim Rawson at the Palace of the Lost City Hotel, Sun City. Having just had time to settle into their luxurious rooms, freshen up, and take a quick look around the hotel, distributors then enjoyed their first taste of Sun City – an enormous buffet and barbecue lunch on the Palace Pool Deck.

That evening Kleeneze distributors gathered in the Elephant Atrium (so-called because it contains a life-sized bronze sculpture of an African elephant – the largest ever found!) for a welcome drinks reception. They compared their first impressions of this amazing hotel complex, with its endless corridors of luxurious bedrooms, fabulous pools, Jungle Book walkways, Lost City waterfalls, colonnades, and service fit for royalty!

The group was entertained by local classical guitarists, and enjoyed a carvery dinner on the Royal Observatory Deck with cold cuts, seafood, spicy Asian dishes, and tantalising desserts, before retiring to their rooms for a well-earned rest!
